Taaleem announces Support Package for parents, including Term 3 Discounts of up to 25%

Initiative reflects growing efforts by organisations across Dubai to support the community in overcoming challenges caused by the COVID-19 crisis

25% discounts on Foundation and Kindergarten fees; 20% discount for Primary/Elementary School and Secondary School fees.

In yet another initiative that reflects the growing efforts by private and public sector organisations across Dubai to support the community in overcoming challenges posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, Taaleem, one of the largest education providers in the UAE, today announced discounts on fees for the third term in its schools. The move is designed to provide immediate relief to parents facing financial challenges due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Following extensive consultations with its school community, Taaleem launched a support package that includes key measures to ease the financial pressures on families.

Alan Williamson, CEO of Taaleem, announced to parents that Term 3 fees will be discounted across the entire Taaleem portfolio of schools in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This includes 25% discounts on Foundation and Kindergarten fees, 20% discount for Primary/Elementary School fees and 20% on Secondary School fees.

Taaleem is also facilitating Individual Parent Payment Plans, Re-enrolment Packages and Reduced Schools Fees for the next academic year, as previously announced. It will also waive application fees and payment plans for deposits for the next academic year.

Taaleem has pledged to retain their outstanding teachers and provide unequivocal support for their staff until normal operations are resumed.

Khalid Al Tayer, Chairman of Taaleem, commented: “The quality of our schools is built upon the quality of our teachers. Their efforts, inspiration, dedication and professionalism are the qualities that positively separate our schools from others in a crowded and competitive market. We are a values-based organisation and have taken positive steps to support our entire community of schools. In line with the national agenda set out by the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, this initiative is a reflection of Taaleem’s commitment to supporting our community and enhancing government initiatives across the UAE.”

Alan Williamson, CEO of Taaleem, further said: “Taaleem is a family of values-driven schools and we have made the choice to support our parent community in these challenging times. We gratefully acknowledge the extraordinary efforts that our parents are making to support their children with their learning in these unprecedented and challenging times.”

“We have consulted widely with our community and taken time to decide best how to do the right thing for all our parents. We believe that as a home-grown company, providing relief for all was morally the right thing to do. With the announcement of this discount, we hope to show not only our support for all our parents but demonstrate how much we value them as a community; we are all in this together. We will continue to invest in our ‘outstanding’ teachers, who are making incredible efforts to deliver a fantastic programme of Distance Learning. Parents should be reassured that when normal schooling resumes, all our schools will be incredibly well prepared, fully staffed and resourced with our existing inspired and passionate staff,” he added.
