Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and President of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee, attended the graduation ceremony of the 15th cohort of learners at HBMSU.
The ceremony, which was also attended by His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, honoured 251 graduates from PhD, Master's, and Bachelor's programmes in the university’s College of E-Learning, College of Business Administration and Quality, College of Health and Environmental Studies, and Research and Graduate Studies.
During the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with the distinguished PhD graduates and commended them for demonstrating excellence in their academic and research ventures. The gesture reflects HH Sheikh Mansoor's strong interest in supporting their academic development and advancing their professional journey.
His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of HBMSU’s Board of Trustees and Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, presented the certificates to the 15th batch of graduates, which included 157 graduates from the College of Business Administration and Quality (88 with Master's degrees and 69 with Bachelor's degrees), 35 Master’s graduates from the College of E-Learning, 54 graduates from the College of Health and Environmental Studies (33 Master's and 21 Bachelor's degrees), and five research and PhD programme graduates.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, said: “Driven by the forward-looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and the continuous guidance and supervision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, and President of the University, HBMSU is geared towards empowering the next generation of innovators and creative minds. By embracing innovation as a methodology and lifelong learning as a culture, the University aims to provide learners with the tools necessary to build on their achievements and meet future challenges, strengthening HBMSU’s standing as a beacon of academic excellence.”
