The countdown for Dubai to welcome the world to the extraordinary event Expo 2020 Dubai, the 122 smart gates spread in the departure and arrival halls at Dubai airports are adorned with the “Expo 2020 Dubai” logo sticker made Environmentally friendly material in preparation for receiving visitors to the world’s largest cultural event. 

His Excellency Lieutenant-General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, stressed that the smart gates are the gateway which visitors to the United Arab Emirates and the visitors of Expo 2020 Dubai will cross through at Dubai airports.  

He added, “the smart gates consider the smarts and safest way for travelers in light of the precautionary measures. We hope that travelers will experience a unique journey like never before.”

Lieutenant-General Mohammed Al-Marri said: "A few days, the UAE and Dubai will receive the world for the awaited international event, Expo 2020 Dubai, we are happy to welcome millions of visitors to this extraordinary event, and we assure every one of our complete readiness to provide an exceptional experience for travelers and Expo 2020 Dubai visitors. 

“our teams are ready, facilities exist according to the highest standards of health and safety, and we are confident that we will represent the UAE in the best way, and we will create an event that will remain in everyone’s memory,” Al Marri added.

H.E Lieutenant-General Mohammed Al Marri stressed that the event, which the United Arab Emirates will host for the first-ever in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia city, reflects the world's confidence in the prestigious position that the UAE has become in terms of development and prosperity. In addition, the high level of security and safety it has enjoyed.  

He added that the UAE has logistical capabilities and infrastructure that have enabled it to embrace more than 200 nationalities in all coexistence and love, as this event constitutes an urban and peaceful meeting for all countries of the world under one roof.
