19 Sep, 2020

Dubai Land Department (DLD) is launching the first digital edition of International Property Show (IPS), the Middle East’s biggest property sales platform for local and international real estate markets, on 11 – 20 November, in partnership with Invest in Dubai Real Estate.

In light of the current conditions that the world is witnessing as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19, IPS has succeeded in building a secure and interactive virtual platform, which helps display investment opportunities and facilitate real estate transactions in the local and international real estate markets. IPS’s organisers have relied on employing virtual technology through a partnership with the leaders in virtual exhibitions, Event 10X, to ensure a smooth, unique and safe experience.

“The digital edition of IPS marks the beginning of a new chapter in the real estate industry, a period of immense transformation fueled by resilience and innovation. It will be a brilliant instrument for propelling the real estate industry locally and globally,” said HE Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD.

IPS will, in the rise of the current pandemic, revolutionise and pioneer the real estate sector in terms of selling and buying by using a state-of-the-art digital platform that would enable property developers to showcase their projects in a safer and more interactive manner, creating many business opportunities within real estate markets, both locally and Internationally, to generate leads, attract property buyers, and create profitable businesses.

The growing virtual exhibitions trend is a key factor for businesses continuity and contributing positively to business growth amidst the current challenges of the Real Estate Industry. The digital edition of IPS will also serve as a crucial gateway to maximise networking opportunities as it will stimulate significant business partnerships and professional collaborations with top-tier investors and other prominent personalities in the world of real estate. Moreover, IPS aims to support real estate businesses by promoting their projects, giving them an edge in a highly competitive market, and providing an opportunity for the sector to bounce back from the repercussions of the pandemic.

IPS will be held along with Invest in Dubai Real Estate, where local exhibitors will feature their industry projects and services with the ultimate goal of boosting economic progress and sustainability in the emirate, thus providing additional opportunities for investors and businessmen in the real estate sector.

“The digital edition of IPS will also act as a very important portal to maximise network opportunities, as it will lead to more business and professional partnerships with first-class investors and personalities in the real estate industry,” stated Majida Ali Rashid, CEO of the Real Estate Promotion and Investment Management Sector in DLD.

“The digital edition of IPS is more than just an exhibition. It is also a virtual access to a plethora of opportunities in the real estate market, serving as a deal-making, networking and branding platform as well as providing an attractive environment for promoting real estate investments locally and internationally,” commented Dawood Al Shezawi, President of the International Property Show.

“IPS has embraced digitalisation because we do not want to be incapacitated by the impact of the pandemic in realising our vision. We want to take full advantage of technology and utilise it to further uplift the state of the real estate industry worldwide. Thus, we decided to run this event for ten days, fully maximising on our time and efforts to create opportunities for businesses to grow and recuperate,” he added.

The International Property Show’s digital edition will showcase remarkable features and a wide variety of activities over ten days, making it the ideal virtual destination for the global real estate community.
