World Police Summit 2026 to be held in Dubai this November

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the fifth edition of the World Police Summit, organized by Dubai Police in partnership with DXB LIVE, will be held from 16–18 November 2026. Centered on the theme “Connected for Impact: Uniting Global Policing to Safeguard Future Generations,” this edition has been optimized to ensure a more comprehensive agenda, a broader international delegation presence, and expanded tracks and partnerships. 

The World Police Summit is a leading global forum and platform that brings together security and law enforcement experts to exchange knowledge and insights on key aspects of modern policing. It aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration, address emerging challenges, showcase the latest security technologies, and foster strategic partnerships that contribute to enhancing law enforcement systems and readiness in an evolving global landscape.

This November, the Summit will deliver a comprehensive and knowledge-rich program featuring more than 15 thematic tracks and over 270 sessions and panel discussions covering a wide spectrum of contemporary security issues. It is also expected to host around 220 speakers, including decision-makers and experts from more than 110 countries. Together, they will discuss and explore the future of smart policing, fueling the Summit’s global momentum and solidifying its position as a leading platform for knowledge exchange and international security collaboration.

Advancing the Global Policing Ecosystem
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said: “The World Police Summit represents a leading strategic platform that reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to advancing global security and developing the international policing ecosystem. He further stated: “The Summit also enables law enforcement agencies to anticipate future challenges and respond with greater efficiency and agility through advanced technologies and strengthened collaboration, ensuring the highest levels of safety and security while placing community protection at the forefront.”

In addition, His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General, Dubai World Trade Centre Authority and Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, said: “The World Police Summit reflects Dubai’s ability to convene global expertise and foster meaningful collaboration on issues shaping societies and economies today. Expanded Agenda and New Focus Areas
The fifth edition of the Summit introduces a qualitative expansion across its agenda, with a stronger focus on connectivity and integration between people, technology, and operations. This approach aims to move beyond siloed models towards a more coordinated and integrated ecosystem, enhancing operational readiness and cross-border collaboration.

Participants will discuss key challenges facing law enforcement globally, including anti-money laundering, organized crime, counter-narcotics, aviation security, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, alongside innovative solutions to enhance safety and mitigate risks.

New tracks and forums will also be introduced, covering officer wellbeing, space and satellite security, emergency response strategies, and advanced fraud prevention. And a dedicated focus on “Leadership at the Core” will highlight the development of future leaders in an increasingly interconnected world.

International Participation
Held under the umbrella of the UAE Ministry of Interior, the Summit enjoys strong support from the Ministry and will witness broad participation from leading international organizations and entities specializing in law enforcement and policing including the United Nations Office, UNICEF, UNOPS, Europol, Interpol, the FBI, UNODC, ASEANAPOL, IPA, and IACP, alongside specialized networks such as Barnahus Network, Council of Europe, ROADPOL, AQUAPOL, AIRPOL, Crimestoppers International, and Interport Police.

This broad participation reflects the Summit’s growing global stature as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and unified efforts in addressing shared security challenges.

Strong participation from high-level officials
The Summit will host high-level officials and decision-makers across the global law enforcement community, including ministers of interior, police chiefs, and internationally recognized experts. Among the key participants are H.E. Panče Toškovski, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, and General Quaestor Benone-Marian Matei, Inspector General of the Romanian Police, who will join a distinguished group of senior security leaders.

The Summit will also feature a lineup of prominent international speakers, including Mr. Peter Nilsson, Police Commissioner at AIRPOL; Mr. Patrick Ghion, Chief Cyber Strategy Officer at Geneva State Police; Colonel Hugues Desmoulins-Lebeault, Director of AQUAPOL; Ms. Hayley van Loon, Chief Executive Officer of Crime Stoppers International; and Mr. Glen Prichard, Chief of the Cybercrime and Technology Section at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

In addition, the Summit will host delegations from across the globe, including Europe, the United States, Latin America, Africa, China, and Russia, reflecting its growing international stature as a leading platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in law enforcement.

World Police Summit Awards
The organizing committee of the World Police Summit Awards has announced that it continues to accept nominations for the awards as part of the fifth edition of the World Police Summit. The awards celebrate experts, specialists, police leaders, and all professionals working across law enforcement agencies and related fields, who dedicate their lives to safeguarding communities and ensuring public safety, while upholding the highest international standards despite evolving challenges.

The awards feature 13 categories, including Excellence in Criminal Investigation, Excellence in Road Safety, Excellence for People of Determination, Best Female Law Enforcement Professional, Best Innovative Idea in Policing and Security, Excellence in Forensics and Criminology, Excellence in Anti-Narcotics, Excellence in Customer Service in Policing, Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Policing, Best Police Application, Best Community Contribution in Policing, and Innovation for Startups.

Submissions will close on 25 September 2026. The shortlist will be announced on 2 November, followed by the final winners’ announcement on 9 November. Winners across the 13 categories will be honored during an official ceremony on 18 November 2026, held in the presence of senior officers, leaders, and officials from the global law enforcement community.

The awards judging panel comprises a distinguished group of academics and international experts specializing in policing sciences.

The World Police Summit Awards ceremony is one of the flagship events of the Summit, bringing together an elite group of law enforcement leaders, professionals, experts, academics, and decision-makers from around the world to address evolving security challenges and explore forward-looking solutions that enhance community safety.

International Exhibition
Held alongside the Summit, the international exhibition will feature more than 170 global exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge solutions across security and safety, including defense and military, surveillance systems, armored vehicles, biometric identification technologies, AI-driven innovations, cybersecurity, and drones.
