Aviation Safety Transformation Summit witnesses wide attendance on the first and second days

The  Aviation Safety Transformation Summit 2025, organized by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) over two days, witnessed wide participation from aviation experts and industry leaders from around the world, alongside representatives from international organizations, airlines, and advanced technology companies.

H.E. Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, highlighted the importance of the summit, saying:
"We have successfully launched a global dialogue platform dedicated to future oriented aviation safety. We are committed to making this summit an annual cornerstone supporting global efforts toward safer and more sustainable aviation. Dubai will continue to be an active partner in shaping the future of civil aviation worldwide."

Mr. Nasser Al Memari, Director of Aviation Environment & Airspace Safeguarding Department at DCAA, emphasized the summit’s role in enhancing international cooperation and innovation in the aviation sector, noting Dubai’s commitment to adopting advanced technologies to ensure the highest safety and sustainability standards. He added:

"This summit represents a unique opportunity to exchange expertise and strengthen collaboration among all stakeholders, ensuring that the aviation sector can keep pace with digital and environmental developments while achieving higher levels of safety and security."

The first day featured panel discussions focusing on the latest developments in aviation safety, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital twin technologies in improving the efficiency of safety systems. The sessions also addressed environmental and regulatory challenges facing the sector amidst rapid technological transformations.

The second day included interactive sessions covering regional and international experiences in risk management and aviation safety. Participants reviewed recent innovations in accident prediction and operational data analysis and discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation between regulatory authorities and airlines to develop an integrated safety ecosystem.
