Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the annual Al Ameen Forum will take place on 21 October at Atlantis The Royal, under the theme ‘The Security of the Community’.
The Forum reflects the leadership’s vision of fostering security and stability through active community participation. It also highlights the importance of collective responsibility and collaboration in addressing the evolving cultural and digital transformations shaping today’s societies.
Held as part of the Year of Community initiative, the event aims to reinforce the values of unity, cooperation and shared accountability in strengthening the foundations of national security. Through its discussions, the Forum translates the objectives of the initiative into tangible outcomes, emphasising that the strength and cohesion of society form the cornerstone of sustainable and comprehensive security in the UAE.
The Forum also underscores the efforts of Dubai’s State Security Department, led by His Excellency Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, and its commitment to promoting awareness and social cohesion as key pillars of long-term stability. It further highlights the positive impact of the Al Ameen Service, guided by His Excellency Lieutenant General Awadh Hadher Jumaa Al Muhairi, Vice President of Dubai’s State Security Department, and supervised by His Excellency Major General Tamim Mohammed Al Muhairi, Director General of Dubai’s State Security Department.
The event will feature a series of strategic discussions focusing on the complementary roles of government entities in building a sustainable community security framework. Among the key participants are His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, and Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai. They will be joined by His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality; His Excellency Omar Bushahab, Director General of the Dubai Land Department; His Excellency Matar Al Hemeiri, CEO of Digital Dubai Government Establishment; and His Excellency Ghaith Al Suwaidi, Chief AI Officer, Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment, at Digital Dubai.
During the Forum, Al Ameen Service will unveil an AI-powered smart tool designed to enhance communication with the public and strengthen engagement through the use of advanced technologies to support community security.
An accompanying exhibition will also be held on the sidelines of the event, showcasing practical initiatives that promote social cohesion and digital safety. Participating entities include the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, Furjan Dubai, 'My Blood, for My Country' campaign by the Dubai Health Authority, and the Community Development Authority in Dubai.
