Ahmed bin Mohammed says Commemoration Day embodies the highest loyalty and gratitude to the nation

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Chairman of Dubai Media Council, said that Commemoration Day is a national occasion that provides an opportunity to honour those who gave their lives defending the UAE, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire pride and loyalty across generations.
His Highness said that through their sacrifices, they earned a place of lasting honour, demonstrating remarkable courage and bravery, and embodying the values of dignity, nobility and deep belonging to the land of Sheikh Zayed.
Sheikh Ahmed also noted that the memory of the nation’s heroes, whose sacrifices formed a shield protecting the UAE’s honour, will remain ever-present in the nation’s heart. He said their legacy continues to inspire future generations, strengthening loyalty to the country and its leadership and fostering efforts to keep the UAE’s flag raised high with pride.
His Highness also said the UAE Armed Forces’ heroism reflects the nation’s core values of loyalty, dedication, and commitment to duty. He praised their role in defending justice, supporting the oppressed, and promoting regional security, guided by the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and supported by Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
He also reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to honouring their memory by serving the UAE and upholding its legacy of unity, determination and visionary leadership.
