DP World’s National Industries Park will soon host one of the Gulf’s most advanced furniture manufacturing hubs, with global leader Zarberg investing over AED 120 million ($32 million) in a state-of-the-art, 65,000 sqm facility designed to power growth across the region’s booming real estate market.
Phase 1 will span 18,000 sqm and include production, office and showroom space, with further expansion works scheduled for 2028. Zarberg plans to scale production capacity to 40 furnished apartments per day once the NIP facility is fully operational and employ close to 150 people in phase one, with further expansion planned as production grows.
The facility will manufacture customised kitchens, wardrobes, living rooms and vanities combining Italian design standards, German engineering and premium raw materials. It will also deploy an automated Industry 4.0 production line that enables customers to tailor products to their specific requirements.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, COO – Parks & Zones, DP World GCC, said: “NIP continues to attract partners focused on sustainable, innovation-led growth. As Dubai’s population continues to expand and new residential and office districts take shape across the city, demand for high-quality furniture is accelerating. Investments like Zarberg’s add to Dubai’s manufacturing momentum and reinforce its role as a hub for future-ready industries.”
Zarina Alidzhanova, MD – ZARBERG Furniture Manufacturing, said: “This project is our commitment to reshaping the future of furniture production in the region. At Zarberg, we believe in combining European design heritage with cutting-edge automation to offer the highest standards of quality, speed and customisation. NIP gives us the ideal platform to build a future-ready facility, one that reflects the ambition of Dubai and the evolving needs of the GCC. We’re proud to contribute to the UAE’s industrial momentum through sustainable, intelligent manufacturing.”
To support sustainable and efficient manufacturing, the site will feature solar systems, energy-saving machinery, an advanced air-filtration system and electric service vehicles. All wood used in production will be sourced responsibly from certified forests to ensure traceability.
