The MoU was signed by H.E. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of the DHA, and Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General and CEO of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences in the presence of senior officials and experts from both parties.
Under the terms of the MoU, DHA and the Foundation will build a robust partnership that extends cooperation across a variety of fields related to creativity and innovation. Key areas of focus include the organisation of conferences, seminars, scientific forums, and medical training programmes that align with Dubai’s health sector priorities. The initiatives will enable knowledge sharing and the transfer of expertise, ensuring the collaboration remains up-to-date with the latest developments both locally and internationally.
The MoU further stipulates collaboration on publishing award-winning research in recognised journals and supporting events that align with health sector objectives, promote community awareness, and facilitate the exchange of publications, marketing, and media materials between the two entities.
The partnership targets a range of beneficiaries, including healthcare professionals who can leverage specialised training programmes, conferences, and seminars, as well as researchers, students, and individuals interested in scientific and health matters, who stand to benefit from approved research and studies.
Following the signing, H.E. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of the DHA, stated that the Authority places great emphasis on research, studies, training, medical education, and professional development. He underscored that innovation in these areas is essential to enhancing the health sector with exceptional medical talent across various specialisations.

Al Ketbi noted that the partnership would support Dubai's health sector and the significant transformations it is experiencing.
