Mansoor bin Mohammed says Commemoration Day salutes martyrs’ sacrifices while inspiring a better tomorrow

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, said that Commemoration Day represents an occasion to honour the UAE’s martyrs and remember their immense sacrifices to defend its unity and sovereignty. Commemoration Day is a testament to the courage and loyalty of the UAE Armed Forces and their determination to safeguard the nation’s achievements, Sheikh Mansoor added. The sacrifices of the martyrs for the sake of the nation’s pride and honour and their determination and selfless service demonstrate unquestioning loyalty to the nation, His Highness said, emphasising the importance of reaffirming commitment to their legacy and drawing inspiration from it for continued progress.

Sheikh Mansoor highlighted that Commemoration Day serves as a powerful reminder of the unifying bond between the UAE’s leadership and its citizens. Sheikh Mansoor emphasised that, as the UAE continues its momentous journey of progress under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs continue to resonate deeply within the hearts of the people.
