Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, stressed that Union Day, which falls on 2 December of each year, is an inspiring story of pride and a noble occasion to celebrate our identity, values, and the progress and achievements of our beloved country, taking pride in the national spirit and the cohesion and solidarity between the leadership and the people.

 She said: “On this 53rd Union Day, we raise our heads in reverence of the founding fathers who fulfilled the dreams and aspirations of the people of the UAE, uniting our hearts and souls and turning the nation into a global model of national unity, leadership and excellence. We look towards our continuing journey of progress, development and achievement in a country that will never settle for anything less than first place.”
