Dubai Municipality begins surveying areas allocated for citizen housing in Awir-1 and Wadi Al Amardi

Dubai Municipality has started conducting land surveys in areas allocated for citizen housing in Al Awir-1 and Wadi Al Amardi areas in preparation for construction. The surveys forms part of implementing the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to develop new integrated housing projects to enhance the welfare and living standards of citizens. Dubai Municipality previously conducted similar surveys in Mushrif and Wadi Al Shabak areas.

Preparing land for construction

His Excellency Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said: "These surveys that enable us to prepare land plots for the construction of houses for citizens are being conducted in close coordination with other service agencies in the emirate. The land surveys in the Awir-1 and Wadi Al Amardi areas are expected to be completed in six months.”

Al Hajri further said Dubai Municipality is committed to provide all services necessary for citizens to build their homes and enhance their living standards. According to its comprehensive plans for creating integrated residential communities for citizens, Dubai Municipality will provide a range of services and amenities in these areas in addition to landscaped green spaces.
