- Mohammed bin Rashid receives honours graduates of the Higher Colleges of Technology

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today received at Zabeel Palace honours graduates of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

His Highness congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavours. He also called on them to use the knowledge they have acquired at HCT to serve the nation and raise the UAE’s status as a global model for sustainable development. The UAE will not spare any effort to support its youth in attaining the highest levels of expertise in scientific and professional disciplines so that they can contribute to achieving the nation’s ambitious objectives, His Highness added.

“You are the hope. You are the wealth of the UAE, the builders of its future. Your efforts and ideas will help the nation progress. Your talent and skills are key to shaping a bright future for the UAE and its people. We want you to be role models who can inspire not only your peers but also future generations to achieve greater success and excellence,” His Highness said.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said HCT has nurtured generations of leaders who have played a key role in the UAE’s development journey. He also praised the institution’s faculty for their invaluable role in preparing the youth for taking on leadership responsibilities in various sectors.

At the end of the reception, His Highness posed for a commemorative photo with the graduates. The graduates expressed their gratitude to His Highness and the UAE leadership for their continuous support.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology; and Dr. Faisal Al Ayyan, President of the Higher Colleges of Technology.
