Dubai Labour Court reviews H1 2021 performance indicators

During his meeting with Labour Court judges, Chief Justice Jamal Al Jabri, Head of the Labour Court at the Dubai Courts, presented the court’s strategic performance indicators for the first quarter of 2021.

The meeting also discussed the various types of judicial verdicts issued by the court and its facilitated judicial services, to achieve its vision to lead globally in terms of costs.

Al Jabri said the number of registered lawsuits in the second quarter of 2021 reached 3,290, while adjudicated lawsuits numbered 3,320, noting the number of registered lawsuits in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 6,407.

The Labour Court also achieved an adjudication rate of 101 percent in the second quarter, and 112 percent in the first quarter, he further added.

Reconciled lawsuits in the second quarter numbered 247 out of a total of 3,335, a reconciliation rate of 7 percent. During the first quarter of 2021, the Labour Court achieved reconciliation in 631 lawsuits out of a total of 7,170, a reconciliation rate of 9 percent.
