- Dubai Healthcare City Launches C37 – UAE's First Private Medical Workspace
- New end-to-end solution enables efficient, cost-effective part-time practice set-up for overseas physicians and UAE-based doctors
- C37 to be managed and operated by DHCC, allowing doctors to focus on 'flexibility, innovation, and accessibility'
In an announcement that represents a key sector milestone, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), Dubai's enabling healthcare and wellness free zone ecosystem, announced the launch of C37 – a private medical workspace zone designed for visiting overseas doctors or UAE-based physicians seeking an independent, part-time practice.
Launched in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group on the opening day of Arab Health, running until Thursday (June 24) at the Dubai World Trade Centre, C37 is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the GCC that reinforces DHCC's mission to bring together core sector services to enhance healthcare delivery in the UAE.
The innovative new platform offers flexibility and accessibility for medical professionals. C37 will provide visiting doctors a gateway to a regional population that values quality care and easy access to more than 200 nationalities that call the UAE home, while giving doctors based in the country greater mobility and connectivity with their patients and peers.
It will also give patients in the UAE direct access to an even larger pool of leading regional and global specialists in various fields of medicine, right at their doorstep in Dubai Healthcare City.
Jamal Abdulsalam, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, said: "The launch of C37 is in line with our commitment to provide unique and innovative solutions to meet the growing demands of the UAE health sector and ensure DHCC continues to attract the best of the world's medical talent in line with our goal to support the national agenda on advanced health sciences and healthcare excellence."
C37 provides a 360-degree approach to clinical operations so that doctors can focus on their core services and provide optimum quality care. The initiative also serves as a platform for knowledge and expertise exchange with medical peers and future doctors coming together to form a like-minded, next-generation community that can thrive through networking and referral opportunities," added Abdulsalam.
"C37 contributes to empowering UAE competencies in various medical fields, as it shapes a platform to exchange knowledge and sharing of experiences, which highlights the role of DHCC in achieving the goals of the national agenda. C37 also seeks to achieve the sustainability of medical tourism by attracting the finest doctors from around the world to provide health care services to individuals from the country and the region from Dubai.”
C37 provides cost-effective, customised, and state-of-the-art medical co-working spaces and services. Visiting doctors will benefit from full-service set-up, from visa processing and licensing to special discounts on travel and accommodation, and the opportunity to network and collaborate with more than 160-plus clinics and hospitals within the DHCC ecosystem.
Similarly, UAE-based doctors can launch their own independent workspace, safe in the knowledge that operational set-up and management is taken care of.
Access to C37 is via membership. Physicians who sign up will benefit from front-desk booking services, as well as operational support including onsite management guidance with comprehensive resources, including strategic consulting, accounting, banking, legal, and marketing services.
Members will be able to secure their workspace on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, giving doctors the flexibility to align with patient needs and drastically reduce overheads by accessing flexible medical staffing and equipment solutions. They pay only for the staff they need and can scale staff up or down in line with patient demand.
