Mohammed bin Rashid meets with Saudi Crown Prince at Expo 2020 Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today met with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia, at Expo 2020.

 

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed Prince Mohammed bin Salman and highlighted the strong ties between both nations. The two leaders explored new avenues to bolster bilateral ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

 

During the meeting, Their Highnesses reviewed various facets of strategic cooperation between the two countries. Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE, especially since it coincides with the UAE’s 50th National Day celebrations. He also emphasised the commitment of leaders of both countries to foster further collaboration in various spheres. Prince Mohammed bin Salman also commended the exceptional organisation of Expo 2020 Dubai.

 

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; and His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Commissioner-General of Expo 2020 Dubai; along with senior officials.
