Dubai Courts Shift services of the Labor and Execution Court to the new building in Al Awir

Dubai Courts announce shifting of all the services of the labor and Execution court to the new building in AlAweer, in pursuance to facilitate and expedite the procedures of customers, through proactive steps in upgrading the judicial system, and providing services that  shall accelerate the process of deciding  in the cases and issuing Judgments, subsequently sub-serving to achieve the highest levels of happiness for customers through the accuracy and speed of implementation of judicial decisions.

The services of the labor court will commence on August 9, 2020, which will allow litigants to register their labour related cases from the employer or the employee arising disputes regarding their dues over each others. The services also includes major labour cases where the employees file cases against their companies in the private sectors to protect the rights resulting from the labour relationship pursuant to labour contracts where these rights exceed ten million dirhams. 

Whereas the Minor Labour Cases  are those wherein the employees file cases against their companies in the private sectors to protect the rights results from the labour relationship pursuant to labour contracts of less than ten million dirhams. Added to that the service of Labour Cases Appeal , logistics services for minor and major labour cases, appeal in the Cassation Courts in accordance with the jurisdiction prescribed in law.

It also provides  services of Execution Department  which will commence on August 16, 2020. This  service allows litigants to execute orders, judgments and decisions issued by Dubai Courts,  judgments issued by  DIFC  Court, writs of reconciliation, authenticated documents as well as other documents certified by Dubai courts , execution of foreign judgments  issued outside the country after putting execution writ.

These upon also provides service of deputation referred to Dubai Courts by the Courts of other Emirates in UAE and GCC  in case the respondent’s domicile  or assets falls under the jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts. Moreover, it includes the services of Execution of Judgments that allows the litigants to register for execution of executive writs by force provided that execution not possible in normal ways. The service of Judicial deputation allows litigants to open deputation file  to execute  temporary procedure in Dubai for a judgment issued outside its jurisdiction by virtue of Judicial Deputation Program.

There is the service of sale of asset or mortgaged property which allow to the mortgagee creditor to submit an application to the court to sell the mortgaged  asset according to the mortgage contract  to fulfill his right from the price of the mortgaged asset, while the creditor has the right of priority to lien over the remaining creditors.

Service of objections and contest of Execution provide the litigants and all those have interest an objection to execution seeking by submitting the procedure requesting continuation of proceeding, suspension or revocation.

Service of Administration Orders demanding execution of decisions of government and semi government establishments in civil and real estate issues within the jurisdiction of Dubai Courts. Also it provides Smart Application of Execution Service which relates to the various precautionary and executional procedures (such as inquiries of debtor’s addresses and funds, attachment, sale and pay procured amount to the beneficiaries and request orders to restrict freedom. The other service Zarri  which allows deliberation of cases through visual display feature does exist in the name of video calls where the Judge can listen to the detainee  and issue judgment anytime and anywhere. It also may help to find immediate solution for urgent cases.  As humanitarian point of view the detainee will not be subjected to humiliation or obstruction of his procedures. it reduces time and effort for customers. Urgent matter service allows customers to request the Urgent Matters Judge to impose precautionary attachment to the properties and movable assets of his opponent according to the circumstances, in case he fears that his opponent will flee, launder his money, hide, or squander it loss, provided that the debt is payable and unconditional.

The building is located in Al Aweer area in Dubai, where services are provided on Sunday to Thursday from 8:00a.m to 2:00 p.m. The new branch reflects Dubai Court’s keenness to provide the best level of services for the convenience of customers. To achieve this goal, the Department always looks forward to expand the customer service network and provides integrated judicial services in accordance with the highest standards of quality and excellence.
