His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent a congratulatory cable to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah as he sworn-in as new Emir of Kuwait.
Sheikh Mohammed congratulated Sheikh Nawaf on his appointment as new Emir of Kuwait, wishing him all success to continue the journey of prosperity and progress that was carried out by the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who died on Tuesday at the age of 91.
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed strong and extending brotherly relations between UAE and Kuwait and aspiration to boost fruitful cooperation to serve the interests of peoples of the two countries, as well as Arab and Islamic issues.
Sheikh Mohammed also highlighted the deep ties that link the people of the two brotherly countries, adding that the UAE is keen to continue the drives to further strengthen collaboration between the two nations in every sphere. Sheikh Mohammed expressed the best wishes of success for the new emir in completing construction efforts and development path, which have been carried out by the late emir.
