Dubai Electronic Security Center Announces Official Website Launch

Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) has launched its official website with modern specifications to allow visitors to browse for useful information about its services. The launch of the website is part of the Center’s effort to enhance and develop its services for all relevant authorities, and to provide guidelines to build awareness and learn the necessary skills to manage cyber security risks in public and private sectors, and individuals in the Emirate of Dubai.

 

His Excellency Yousef Hamad Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Electronic Security Center, said: “The launch of the new website is part of the Centers’ efforts to advance progress and innovation to establish this portal as source of information and services to all parties and individuals, thus building a cyber smart society."

 

The visitors can easily navigate through the website to enquire  and request services, read   the latest news and register for  any upcoming events. Amongst the new features, the site  highlights the overall DESC functions, provides an overview of the  standards, policies, licenses, certifications and regulations that have been developed, and addresses the most prominent achievements of the Dubai Cyber Security Strategy.

 

The website also provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the latest published research papers in collaboration with universities that cover various topics related to cybersecurity, read the latest issue of  DESC’s Esharat magazine specialized in security and technology,  discover job opportunities, and download the web security policy developed by DESC.
