GDRFA Dubai and TECOM Group Make Strides Towards Customer Excellence

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) and TECOM Group, a member of Dubai Holding today announced a new phase of its long-term strategic partnership to accelerate the customer experience and ease of doing business across the Group’s business communities.

In line with the UAE government’s vision of developing a global competitive economy, the new phase will be implementing the latest technologies and offering smart solutions to elevate the customer journey from start to finish and contribute in the growth of innovative and knowledge-based industries.

Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA and Malek Al Malek, Chief Executive Officer of TECOM Group, signed the partnership agreement in the presence of several senior representatives from both side.

Speaking about the agreement, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai said: “Our partnership stems from our keenness to expand our existing relationship and ensure its sustainability. Such collaboration aims at achieving the vision of our leadership in developing the Dubai economy and transforming it to a knowledge and innovation-based economy. GDRFA will provide a variety of services to TECOM Group’s businesses and professionals to enhance the Emirate's position as a primary talent and business destination regionally.”

He added: “GDRFA seeks to provide smart services to society members and companies in order to realise the vision of our leadership in achieving happiness for community members and provide easy and accessible services, in cooperation with all entities and institutions in Dubai. Our partnership with TECOM Group’s smart gateway for integrated services, axs, will take place in coordination with the Dubai Development Authority (DDA) as the regulator responsible for licensing companies across TECOM Group community.”

Al Marri stressed that GDRFA is keen in providing its services across several sectors with various departments and institutions in Dubai to work together to organize and accelerate the process of growth and development witnessed by the economic sector in Dubai. “We are pleased that TECOM Group will be hosting a service centre within its facilities.”
