Unique ambience and stage backdrops reflect creative spirit of second edition of ASMIS

The second edition of the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit (ASMIS) held from 13-14 December at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum featured a number of creative activities that reflect the innovative spirit of the Summit.
 
Prominent social media influencers hosted a number of stations dedicated to various themes including cooking, fashion and natural healing.

The event venue featured an interactive waterfall that showcased various messages and logos. The waterfall also displayed the total amount of donations received by ‘Nabadat’, an initiative of Al Jalila Foundation and Dubai Press Club that aims to conduct open-heart surgeries for children in war-torn countries.

YouTube presented an interactive media platform called ‘YouTube Space’ that offered Summit attendees the opportunity to take a photograph against a ‘space-like’ backdrop. YouTube’s Lucas Foot said that the station was designed to welcome attendees in a unique way in keeping with the distinctive vibe of the Summit.

The natural healing station featured a presentation by Dr. Ali Al Attar, an expert in natural healing and the psychology of pain, in which he offered advice and techniques to relieve pain in a practical way.

The cooking station featured a number of cooking techniques and tips. Chef Sahar Ayoub presented recipes for a healthier life at the station.

The fashion station attracted a number of social media influencers including Rana Saab, a prominent social media figure in the world of make-up and fashion who shared tips on how to choose your clothes for various occasions.
